Raves & Rants is a web and mobile-based platform that allows consumers, businesses, and retail employees to connect on the basis of improving the customer experience. Targeting small businesses with its initial MVP launch, Raves & Rants brings unique IP to the review and survey space. It aims to improve current outdated systems by rewarding promotions to customers after providing customer service feedback on custom surveys.

Origin & Client Background
Cam Barnett is from New York. He has been working in the service industry for over 30 years. From his experience, he has noticed that the customer service industry is outdated and ineffective. To address the problems that he identified in the service industry, he came up with an idea on how to improve the customer service of any company so that they can communicate easily with customers and provide them with the best customer service they will ever get. That’s why he created Raves and Rants to address the customer service industry’s two biggest problems: a lack of communication and a lack of accountability for both the company and the customers. RAVES & RANTS is an app that takes advantage of the outdated and highly inefficient way of companies attracting consumers into completing surveys.

Key Features
New Survey Request
In this section, the user will be able to see the basic info about the purchase, including the individual(s) who assisted with the purchase, similar to on a paper receipt.
My Rewards
The rewards section of the app is where all promotions ready for redemption are kept. The user will convert points into promotions the company regularly lists on the app.
My Faves
This is a section of the app where the user has selected a predetermined amount of favorite companies. The user always has the option of either accepting the offered promotion from the company or converting the promotion into points.
E-Receipts
E-receipts are organized according to company and date, date, and any other organizational means that optimize app performance. Users can press and hold the e-receipt and be taken straight to the survey/tipping and rating and the survey is taken to the return/exchange policy.
Search
The search function of the application is designed to allow the user to obtain general information about a company, including its rating, but more specifically, to allow the user to find and complete consumer feedback surveys offered by the company searched.
My Profile / Settings
This section of the app is where the user finds their statistics; which include total surveys completed (customer/consumer/polls) and user average score.
